11/21/2023 0 Comments My vanilla card customer serviceDid not do for the other one we had received. Came home to find out why and needed to add a pin# apparently. Received a $50.00 card as gift and went to use it at Lowe's where is was declined. As of right now, I'm still on hold with them and it's been 57 minutes, and counting.I'm probably going to lose the $400 but I'm going to make it my mission to ensure that as many people as possible never buy these damn cards.SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Customer service is horrendous, you can't talk to a person and when you email, it could take weeks to get a response. I implore you.do not waste your money on these folks. These people are SCAM Artists plain and simple. These are NOT valid and if people will quit buying them, that will solve the problem. My replacement money lasted all of an hour and now I'm told the card is no longer valid. Then tried to use it and was declined. Now it doesn't even recognize the card. An hour and 1/2 later, I checked on line again and the system was told there was an error. I checked it when it came in the mail and there was my money back. (Had card in my possession and within an hour, the money was no longer on the card even though I never used it) Filed a fraud claim, and after almost 4 months, I actually got a replacement card with $400 on it. I was scammed out of $400 back in September of 2022. If I could give this a negative 5 stars, I would. Do not purchase these cards unless you just have extra money that you want to throw away for no good reason. It hurts so much to think that young children will not have their Christmas due to these ruthless, unconscionable people. I believe they tell their customer service reps to lie, and that they will pay them to do so. I believe Vanilla VISA themselves are in on this scam. Customer service said there was a problem with the card, blah, blah, blah. That was the worst, because it was drained at the getgo. The second card my husband purchased for me for our anniversary. When I received a replacement card IT did not work either. I went through the usual customer service runaround and submitted proof of purchase on that card, examples of my residence, etc. There was about $60 left on that card, but it was rejected every time I tried to use it. The first card was semi all right, but when I went in to check the balance, I received invalid card errors on both the website and by phone. We purchased two cards that were for $300. Like many others, my husband and I both got scammed by buying Vanilla Visa gift cards. You can contact them at 1-86.Ĭards after purchase are useless. Or contact the law firm of Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith. I can’t post links but please google class action lawsuit against one vanilla prepaid cards. Please if you are scammed by One Vanilla join in on the class action lawsuit. Called a few more times same results but one rep allowed me to talk to a supervisor and they wanted personal info like date of birth and a bank account info to start a service request ticket! I said no way! They don’t need that personal info to write a service request ticket and to issue me a refund! Not only are they stealing peoples money but they are possibly commiting identity theft! These criminals need to be stopped! There’s a pending class action lawsuit against this company. And entered pin.Later I check balance and it is only 51cents left on card!! Where the f did that money go?! They stole it!!! She was the only one that had access to that info in order to access the money on that card!! The company and there employees are in on this scam!! I called next several days the customer service number on back of card only to be put on hold each time about 45 minutes to an hour and answered by there service reps that hardly speak English. Mistake! So went to store bought pack of gum for $1.29. I gave her card numbers and security code on back of card since she was service rep for one vanilla visa card company. So called customer service number on back of card after waiting an hour on hold and there customer service rep spoke very poor English! She said confirmed I had $260 on card and to try using card in store to activate it. Could not use for any online purchase it was declined at every site I was trying to shop at. Scam! Scam! Scam! No option to rate zero stars but I would! Do not buy One Vanilla Visa cards! The company and there customer service reps are in on it!! I bought card put $260 on it.
